Job summary

Shield Safety Group in the UK is seeking a qualified Environmental Health Practitioner (EHP) or Environmental Health Officer (EHO) to advance your career in private sector consultancy. You will focus on food hygiene and health & safety with top hospitality, retail and leisure clients, and you’ll be supported to pursue CIEH registration through a structured pathway.

Qualifications

• Hold an accredited BSc or MSc in Environmental Health.
• Have experience leading audits, inspections or compliance consultancy.
• Be passionate about public health, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Hold a full and valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental health audits and inspections for clients in Hospitality, Retail and Leisure.
• Deliver bespoke consultancy on food safety and health & safety risk management.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to drive improvements and compliance.
