Qualifications

• Knowledge of the terminology, principles and analytical techniques of the physical or natural sciences.
• Ability to collect, evaluate, analyze and interpret scientific or technical data.
• Ability to prepare technical reports.
• Ability to use personal computers and databases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections of public pools, spas, and water recreation attractions to ensure sanitary and safety standards are met.
• Submit written reports of deficiencies and initiate enforcement actions as needed.
• Coordinate with federal, state and local agencies and inform owners about compliance requirements.
• Update Environmental Health databases and review licenses and permits.
