Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Health, or related field.
• One year of progressively responsible related experience.
• Valid CA REHS certification and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Advise the public on health and environmental issues and fees.
• Investigate complaints, collect evidence, and issue notices of violation.
• Prepare complex reports and maintain records.
• Review plans, permits, and building plans for facilities.
• Conduct inspections of food facilities, pools, body art, and wells.
