Job summary

Forensic Analytical Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health Specialist II to support industrial hygiene, asbestos, and microbial projects.

The role is hands-on and field-based, performing surveys, inspections, abatement oversight, air sampling, and reporting. They will lead projects when needed, coordinate with the Project Manager, contractors, and clients, and travel locally to site locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in industrial hygiene, health and safety, biological science, physical science, or related field—or equivalent relevant experience.
• Current California Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site surveys, inspections, assessments, abatement oversight, and monitoring for industrial hygiene, asbestos, and microbial projects.
• Prepare written field reports and ensure timely report turnaround.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, contractors, and clients; lead projects when assigned.
