Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Health and Safety Specialist to join our Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) organization in Fort Greely, AK. This on-site role requires developing and implementing health and safety programs, conducting audits, and training teams.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in EHS, experience with risk assessments and safety program management, and at least 1 year of project management. Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements and monitors occupational health and safety programs and processes
• Develops and provides training and instructions
• Evaluates the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations
• Develops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections
• Plans and conducts health and safety audits

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
• 3+ years of experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and performing audits
• 1+ years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience with ordinance, and government contracts
• Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals

Summary Pay Range: $99,450 - $134,550
