Responsabilidades

What You'll Be Doing

• Champion a strong safety-first culture across the manufacturing facility
• Lead employee safety training programs and safety committee initiatives
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
• Conduct plant audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Manage environmental compliance programs, permits, reporting, and hazardous waste activities
• Support industrial hygiene initiatives including chemical exposure assessments and employee health risk evaluations
• Participate in Process Safety Management (PSM), hazard reviews, and management of change activities
• Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to continuously improve EH&S performance

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, EHS, or a related field
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, specialty chemicals, industrial manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, food manufacturing, or a similar regulated environment preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, hazardous waste, environmental compliance, industrial hygiene, or process safety programs
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of an organization
• Passion for safety, continuous improvement, and employee engagement

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simpsonville, SC.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37.50 - $57.69/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
