A leading company is seeking an EHS Manager for its Pelzer facility to manage Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS within manufacturing, coupled with excellent leadership and communication skills. This role is critical in promoting a safety-focused culture and driving initiatives for risk reduction while maintaining compliance with all relevant standards.
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing local Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs, projects, and initiatives to maintain compliance and promote a culture of safety at the Vertiv Pelzer facility. Provides direction to the Pelzer management team for the development and implementation of risk reduction solutions, safety best practices, and continuous improvements to drive to zero injuries. Ensures strict compliance with national, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.
