Job summary

Arcadis is the world’s leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions. We are seeking a Geologist or Environmental Scientist Intern to join our team in Raleigh or Cary, NC for Summer 2026.

You will gain exposure to a wide range of environmental remediation and restoration projects within the consulting environment, with a focus on remediation systems, environmental compliance, and field/office support.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS Geology, Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, GIS, programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide field and office support for site-wide monitoring and investigation activities including soil, water, and vapor sampling.
• Assist project teams supporting remediation system operation and permitted facilities.
• Engage in office tasks such as data compilation/interpretation, QA/QC reviews, cost estimates, health & safety plan prep, and report writing.
