Join Our Team as an Environmental General Laborer (ICSS) at Clean Harbors

Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated Environmental General Laborer (ICSS) to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. This role involves hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.

Pay Range

$20.00/hr - $22.00/hr, based on skills and experience. Your actual pay will be discussed with your recruiter.

Key Details

• Up to 40% overnight travel with hotel and per diem provided
• Valid Driver's License required
• Monday to Friday schedule, with an average start time of 6 am
• Work hours typically 8-10+ hours, with overtime after 40 hours
• On-call as needed

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety at all times
• Perform strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects
• Operate equipment and tools safely
• Use personal protective equipment properly
• Work in various weather conditions and environments, including confined spaces and at heights
• Assist in sampling activities and calibration of meters
• Participate in emergency response and be on-call as required
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Ability to perform physical tasks as outlined
• Successful completion of background check, drug test, and physical exam
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency responses, including occasional weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant labor or field experience
