Job summary

Langan is seeking an Environmental Field Training Specialist to join its collaborative team in New York City. This role audits staff field procedures, develops and updates SOPs, and provides QA/QC for field work products.

You will enhance the training program, train new environmental field staff, and provide remedial or specialized field training while contributing to health and safety plans and supporting the Environmental Discipline Lead.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Geology or Engineering with a concentration in groundwater issues; MS preferred.
• 6+ years of leading field investigations and remediation oversight.
• PE or PG licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit field work through on-site observation and review of field notes and borehole data.
• Maintain and update field SOPs and QA/QC for field work products.
• Train staff and support remedial or specialized field training.
