Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Technician to support project success through field assessments, testing, and data collection within the assigned area of responsibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university required.
Valid Virginia driver’s license is required.
Ability to complete training and testing for licensure within established time frame.

Responsibilities

Assist other staff in completing soil testing and other environmental field assessments.
Collect and process environmental field data.
Prepare project mapping as directed by environmental team leader.
Assist in preparation of reports, permits and other technical documents.
Become knowledgeable of current soil regulations in geographic area of responsibility.
Become familiar with environmental sampling protocols and soil testing methods.
Actively participate in client development activities as directed by manager.
