Vertex Resources Services Inc. is accepting applications for an Environmental Field Technician to work in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

The successful candidate will assist our environmental team in field work, report writing, client relationships and project coordination across North America. Responsibilities include providing technical field support with GIS mapping tools, soil sampling, lab chain of custody, and both field and office execution of environmental projects in the oil and gas sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, geology, ecology, biology, or closely related field.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and codes.
• Strong environmental writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical field support on environmental projects within the oil and gas industry across North America.
• Field tasks include GIS mapping tools, soil sampling, water sampling, and environmental monitoring.
• Prepare reports, coordinate with clients, and assist in project coordination.
