Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Confined Space Entry certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following safe work practices.
• Perform emergency response cleanup including chemical and water spills and hazardous waste.
• Sweep, dig, lift, and handle drums to assist cleanup.
• Operate cleanup equipment used in hazardous waste activities.
• Follow policies for control and storage of hazardous substances.
• Attend safety training as required.
• Respond to 24/7 Emergency Response calls when on standby.
• Work long hours and overtime during day, night or weekend shifts.
