Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, or engineering.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; internships or coursework considered.
• Basic understanding of environmental science, data collection, and documentation.
• Strong writing and communication skills with attention to data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform site reconnaissance, inspections, and sampling as assigned.
• Prepare field notes, logs, sketches, and chain-of-custody records.
• Use and maintain field instruments in line with procedures.
• Assist with Phase I ESA tasks and draft report sections for review.
• Support Phase II investigations and remediation activities, including sampling.
• Compare analytical results with criteria and flag potential concerns.
• Assist with stormwater, SPCC, waste management, and other compliance tasks.
• Maintain organized files and communicate progress and delays promptly.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, contractors, and labs.
