Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or Civil/Environmental Engineering and 0–2 years of Environmental Consulting experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field work and data collection experience.
• Ability to analyze environmental data and summarize findings.
• Ability to support preparation of technical reports and deliverables.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in environmental consulting.
• Strong teamwork and communication with project managers and senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs field work and assists in sample and data collection in the field.
• Assists with data verification and documenting observations from sources in the Scope of Work.
• Assists with tabulating and analyzing data, and preparing reports, figures, and sampling logs.
• Develops basic conclusions from observations of data and samples.
• Coordinates and executes portions of field work under the approved Scope of Work.
• Maintains communication with Supervisor/Project Manager regarding field work and deliverables.
• Assists in writing portions of technical reports and provides basic recommendations.
• Organizes and orders field equipment and testing supplies.
