Alliance Technical Group: Entry-Level Environmental Field Scientist

Alliance Technical Group is seeking enthusiastic, adventurous individuals with a background or interest in science or mechanical fields to join as Entry-Level Environmental Field Scientists. This role offers travel opportunities, outdoor work, and career growth in the environmental sector.

Position Overview:

As a Field Scientist, you will gain exposure to industrial processes, support environmental services, and travel to various client sites, primarily in your region/state, with all expenses paid. The work involves outdoor emissions testing at elevated heights, requiring safety and physical fitness.

Compensation and Benefits:

The starting pay ranges from $19 to $25 per hour, depending on location, with quarterly profit-sharing bonuses, overtime, PTO, and comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and education assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct stack emissions testing, including equipment setup, sample collection, and breakdown
  • Follow all testing procedures and quality standards
  • Operate mechanical and electrical systems safely and troubleshoot issues

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug screenings
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights up to 400 ft
  • Degree or experience in environmental, engineering, or mechanical sciences preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and use hand tools
  • Strong aptitude with MS Office and Adobe products
