Job summary

HawkMtn Labs is seeking a Field Sampling/Courier Team member in Hazleton, PA. The role involves collecting soil, water and other samples, conducting QA/QC tests, and maintaining field equipment while following regulations.

You will document field data, drive to remote locations, and interact with clients and regulators to uphold a professional company image. Prior sampling experience is preferred but not required; valid PA driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental sampling preferred but not required.
• Must hold a valid PA driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and lift equipment as needed.
• Strong customer relations skills and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Gather soil, water, and other samples following QA/QC procedures.
• Document field data in detail; perform regular maintenance of field equipment.
• Troubleshoot field equipment malfunctions; operate auto-samplers as needed.
• Enter field data and observations into the LIMS system.
• Follow environmental regulations and perform field readings (pH, conductivity, temperature, DO).
• Maintain professional, prompt communication with clients, regulators, peers, and manager.
