Job summary

The Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California WTCC seeks a Project Supervisor to oversee environmental projects and field activities under the Project Manager. You will assist with planning, safety, data collection, and sponsor coordination.

This exempt role requires an Associates degree, 3 years of related experience, OSHA 30, and certifications in First Aid/CPR, wildland firefighting, and tree/chipper operations. Lifting up to 50 pounds and outdoor work with travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in General Studies.
• 3 years’ experience in skilled labor, equipment operation, management, environmental or related field.
• OSHA 30 certification (or within 10 days).
• Knowledge of safety practices and field procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager to develop and write reimbursement project proposals and coordinate with sponsors.
• Assist with safety enforcement, logistics, and project leadership when needed.
• Maintain daily and monthly reports, time sheets, field files, and evaluations.
• Coordinate corps member development and discipline with staff.
