Job summary

Onterris Payroll, LLC is seeking an Environmental Field Project Manager - Stack to lead field testing efforts for client projects. You will oversee the test team, coordinate with plant contacts and regulatory agencies, and ensure safety and data integrity on site.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of stack testing experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel up to 75% of the time. QSTI credentials are a plus and knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulations is required.

Qualifications

• QSTI credentials a plus.
• Intermediate knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulations.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical certification and OSHA Respiratory Protection Medical Evaluation.
• Flexibility to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Transferable experience: laborer, construction, industrial maintenance, mechanical, laboratory, environmental, field science, etc.

Responsibilities

• Manage logistics of project resources by coordinating with the logistics manager and office managers before field tests.
• Manage onsite schedule and coordinate with client plant contacts and regulatory contacts regarding scope changes.

• Responsible for data review and field quality control.
• Ensure field test team is staffed appropriately and mentors field personnel.

A Day in the Life

As an Environmental Field Project Manager - Stack, you'll be responsible for acting as the field management for the test team, plant contacts, regulatory contacts. You'll need at least 2+ years of experience of source testing and welcome the opportunity to make an impact from day one. The compensation range for this role is $27hr to $38hr. To thrive in this role, you'll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:

• Follow established testing methods, procedures, and processes to help support consistent and reliable source testing
• Manage logistics of the project resources by organizing resources with the logistics manager and office managers prior to the field test
• Manage the onsite schedule and coordinate with the client plant contacts and regulatory contacts concerning scope changes
• Manage all daily field operational and safety aspects of the site‑specific stack programs.
• Responsible for data review and field quality control
• Ensure the field test team is staffed appropriately for all tasks and lead, train and mentor field team personnel

Your Expertise and Skills

• Capacity for overnight and local travel for multi-weekday projects up to 75% of the time or more
• 2+ years minimum of stack testing experience.
• QSTI Credentials a plus
• Intermediate knowledge in applicable Federal, State and Local regulations
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Capability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical certification and OSHA Respiratory Protection Medical Evaluation
• Flexibility is a must as the position may require weekend travel or work for a few projects during the year
• Transferable experience: laborer, construction, industrial maintenance, mechanical, laboratory, environmental, field science, etc.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in outdoor industrial settings, including climbing to and working on elevated platforms (50ft - 300ft) in accordance with OSHA/ANSI and other applicable safety standards
• Must be able to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting heavy materials up to 50 pounds
• Often works outdoors and may be exposed to hot and cold environments and extreme weather conditions, including sunlit, rainy and windy conditions
• Sitting, standing, and walking
