Job summary

Alliance Technical Group in Wisconsin is seeking an entry‑level Engine Testing Field Project Technician to manage field test programs with minimal supervision. The role mobilizes FTIR and other testing equipment to collect emissions data from industrial engines while serving as the in‑field liaison to clients and regulatory personnel.

Reporting to the Engine Testing Manager, you will perform on‑site field testing, prepare gear, follow safety and DOT procedures, and upload data to the secure

Qualifications

• College Graduates in Environmental Science are encouraged to apply.
• Must be trained to have working knowledge of the applicable test methods utilized for industrial combustion engine testing.
• Good verbal communication skills (internally and with clients and regulators).
• Desire to achieve goals and grow into higher positions of leadership.

Responsibilities

• On-site field testing (generally as a solo analyst) – follow standardized procedures to collect sampling emissions data.
• Prepare and maintain all equipment prior to mobilization; coordinate with Engine Testing Manager for pre-job briefings.
• Interface with clients and regulatory personnel; ensure professional representation at customer sites and in the office.
• Review and upload data to the secure AST server each test day; ensure quality data collection.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs and DOT requirements, including proper ELD use.
• Complete Daily Activities Summary (DAS) daily and log field time in UKG.
