Garver is seeking an Environmental Field Lead in Frisco, Texas to support field data collection, NEPA documentation, and environmental studies for infrastructure projects across multiple business lines.

You will lead field teams, ensure NEPA compliance, and prepare technical reports and regulatory permits. Requires a bachelor’s in planning or environmental sciences, 5+ years of related experience (or 2 with a Master’s), and strong writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in planning or environmental sciences or closely related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience required, or 2 years with a Master’s degree.
• Experience with NEPA planning and/or project development, especially transportation projects.
• Wetland and Stream delineation certification from an accredited source (40-hour course).
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a collaborative team in leadership and support roles.
• Proficiency in technical writing.

Environmental Field Lead

Frisco, Texas

Garver is seeking an Environmental Field Lead to provide assistance with field data collection, preparation of environmental studies, and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation for various infrastructure projects across multiple business lines in Frisco. Garver’s Planning and Environmental Team is a growing, collaborative group offering our regional clients full-service planning and environmental capabilities. This position will have the opportunity to make a daily impact on Garver’s projects by being involved in a variety of project types with diverse clients, working collaboratively with internal project teams, and expanding our services through high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Lead Natural Resources field teams on various projects, including water resources and T&E related field efforts in Oklahoma and North Texas.
• Review and apply procedures for compliance with environmental regulations under NEPA.

Requirements

• Experience with planning and/or project development under NEPA, particularly with regards to transportation projects.
