Job summary

EFI Global is seeking a field services professional to support environmental investigation projects and collaborate with scientists on complex EH&S assignments across public and private sectors.

You will conduct microbial, lead, asbestos, and industrial hygiene inspections, perform indoor air quality investigations, and prepare reports. Travel will be 30-40% across provinces. A relevant degree or diploma and certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or two-year diploma in a related field.
• Certification in Asbestos and/or mould assessment/remediation preferred.
• 1–3 years in asbestos/lead IAQ surveys, industrial hygiene, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and lead microbial, lead, asbestos, and industrial hygiene inspections.
• Perform indoor air quality investigations.
• Develop protocols and abatement specs for IH projects.
• Prepare inspection reports and chain of custody forms.
• Document field data, temperatures, humidity, and moisture content.
• Maintain billable hours for external clients.
• Travel 30-40% of the time.
