Job summary

Foth seeks an Environmental Science Intern for the Duluth, MN office for Summer 2027. You will join the environmental team to support projects, gain hands-on experience, and build technical skills in field work and data processing.

You will collaborate with contractors, staff geologists and project managers, and you may travel to project locations to perform sampling and field documentation as part of a comprehensive environmental program.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering or related field

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental field work in coordination with contractors, clients, staff geologists and project managers
• Travel to project locations to perform environmental sampling, geologic logging, field documentation, aquifer testing, surface water discharge gauging, surveying and contractor oversight
• Support geology, hydrogeology and surface water hydrology projects in the environmental services industry
• Perform quantitative analysis of hydrologic and hydrogeologic data
• Manage geologic and environmental data
• Responsibly complete environmental reporting tasks in coordination with project team
