Job summary

Clean Harbors in Bristol, CT is seeking an Environmental Field Chemist (CleanPack Chemist CDL) to handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste in accordance with Federal/State/Local regulations and our company policies and procedures.

This role will operate both indoors and outdoors at plants, labs, and customer sites, assisting with lab packs and HHW collections while visiting customer facilities daily.

Qualifications

• Experience with hazardous waste handling and regulatory compliance.
• Strong field safety awareness and ability to work at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Handle, segregate, pack and inspect chemical waste following regulations and company procedures.
• Assist with lab packs at client facilities, HHW collections and lab moves.
• This is a customer-facing role, working at customer sites daily.
• Work indoors and outdoors at plants, labs and on customer sites; not a laboratory-based chemist.

This is a customer facing position, working at customer sites daily. The Environmental Field Chemist are (NOT) laboratory-based Chemist.
