Job summary

BSK Associates is seeking a Staff Professional to join our team in California. The role involves collecting field data, geologic logging, bore hole work, and groundwater sampling, with on-site collaboration to meet project budgets and schedules.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in civil engineering, geology, or related field and 0–2 years of experience; EIT/GIT certification is a plus. Travel to project locations in CA is expected. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Entry-level, new graduate with Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, geology, or related field.
• E.I.T. (Engineer-in-Training) or G.I.T. (Geologist-in-Training) certification preferred but not required.
• Strong academic background in field of study • 0-2 years' experience.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Collect field data, geologic logging, bore holes, groundwater sampling, and report writing.
• Interact with clients or client representatives onsite to complete tasks within budget and schedule.
• Conduct field studies and analyses for smaller, less complex projects.
• Develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.
• Investigate regulatory requirements to ensure project compliance.
• Prepare scientific reports and permit application packages.
