Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or other directly related field and a minimum of five years of experience in an environmental fate laboratory.
• A Master’s degree in a relevant field and three years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree and experience.
• GLP study director or project management experience preferred
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Designs and supervises simple and complex experiments and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g., EPA, FIFRA, OECD).
• Routinely develops procedures and methods for solving technical problems.
• Seves as an expert for technical issues for staff and external customers.
• Performs advanced troubleshooting of instrumentation and equipment.
• Conducts studies to determine the persistence and behavior of chemicals in the environment.
• Writes complex technical reports and standard operating procedures.
• May serve as primary business contact for clients.
