Job summary

HDI Global Insurance Company is seeking a Lead to develop and implement the U.S. environmental liability underwriting, marketing and production strategy.

The role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strong US broker network and a track record of profitable underwriting results. You will underwrite, lead the ESG Risk Solutions team for the US, manage relationships with wholesale and retail brokers, identify new opportunities, and provide strategic guidance to senior leadership and home office on

Qualifications

• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong financial analysis background.
• Create and maintain broker relationships nationwide with the ability to build relationships in new markets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Excellent negotiation, interpersonal communication skills, and strong marketing abilities.
• Leader with an attitude to win profitable accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the U.S. environmental liability underwriting strategy.
• Lead, recruit, and develop the ESG Risk Solutions underwriting team for the US.
• Underwrite and manage a profitable book of environmental liability business.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Manage key wholesale and retail broker relationships and drive cross-sell opportunities.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership and collaborate with home office on referrals and renewals.
