Job summary

Brown and Caldwell is offering a Summer 2027 Engineering Internship (Northwest) to apply classroom knowledge to real-world technical challenges. You will work with consulting teams, gain hands-on experience, and learn under supervision from experienced professionals.

Interns will support data analysis, research, and preparation of technical materials, participate in workshops, and complete a capstone project. No prior experience required; strong academic record preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Software), Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Data Science) or related field.
• Continued enrollment in accredited under or graduate degree program post internship is required.
• GPA equal to or higher than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional and multidisciplinary teams to support project planning and execution.
• Support day‑to‑day activities within assigned projects and/or functional area.
• Participate in meetings by taking notes, tracking action items, and supporting follow‑up activities.
• Perform technical or support tasks within assigned functional area to aid project needs.
• Deliver assignments on time.
• Assist with data analysis, research, and preparation of technical materials.
• Attend and complete Intern Workshops and Intern Summer Series sessions.
• Complete intern capstone project assignment.
