Job summary

Langan is seeking an Intern/Co-op - Environmental to join its Tampa, FL team. This role supports environmental-related technical tasks across diverse land development projects, with exposure to fieldwork, report preparation, and data analysis under supervision.

You will collaborate with environmental leadership, gain hands-on experience in site feasibility studies, and develop skills in field investigations, laboratory data handling, and environmental modeling.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year or advanced degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and execution of field investigations including logging borings and collecting samples.
• Monitor construction projects and evaluate compliance with specifications.
• Prepare reports documenting field investigations and analytical results.
• Develop logs, forms, and data records for field activities.
• Learn data management and environmental modeling tools; operate field equipment.
• Assist with site reconnaissance and prepare supporting reports.
