Job summary
ERM is seeking a Consultant, Engineering in Manhattan, NY, to deliver civil/environmental design and project support across energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. You will collaborate with a global network of engineers and scientists, contributing to field work, permitting, and site plans while traveling to client locations as needed.
The role emphasizes strong writing and communication, proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil3D and GIS, and the ability to work in a remote/hybrid environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, or related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–3 years of professional experience in related fields.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and technical report writing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Support civil/environmental design and project execution across sectors.
- Contribute to site plans, stormwater, erosion control, and permitting tasks.
- Assist field work, sampling, and monitoring with timely reporting.
- Coordinate with planners, scientists, and engineers on deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to ERM Health and Safety Program.
