Qualifications

• 5 or more years steering technology projects end to end.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort steering technology conversations toward a decision.
• Pattern recognition earned across many technology engagements.
• The integrity to flag your own mistakes first.
• A Rio Rancho grounding, or the adaptability to plant roots quickly.
• Practical command of JavaScript, with bonus points for Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Translate fuzzy product wishes from Capital Partners stakeholders into shippable PostgreSQL services.
• Own the deeply-curious Django subsystem that the rest of Capital Partners quietly depends on.
• Ship the JavaScript no-ego rewrite that pays down years of Capital Partners technical debt.
• Pair-program tricky JavaScript edge cases with engineers across Rio Rancho, NM.
• Hand off PostgreSQL runbooks so the next on-call at Capital Partners sleeps better.
• Bridge gRPC and Django so the two halves of Capital Partners's platform finally talk.
