BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Maine Department of Environmental Protection is seeking candidates for an Environmental Engineer with the Division of Water Quality Management.This position is a project manager for the Clean Water State Revolving Loan (SRF), which primarily provides low interest loans to municipal and quasi-municipal wastewater treatment facilities. The position manages all aspects of the DEP SRF loan process including State wastewater grants and federal Special Purpose Grants. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental, Civil, Sanitary, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering and four (4) years of engineering experience. Related experience may be substituted for education on a year or year basis.


LICENSING/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATIONREQUIREMENTS:

Licensure as a Professional Engineer by the Maine State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers.
