Job Description:
Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Air Permitting and Compliance Consultant to undertake challenging work coordinating air-program compliance and permitting projects associated with the development, construction, and operation of varying industries. This role requires a deep understanding of air quality regulations. The candidate should also have a proven track record in consulting, providing expert advice and solutions to clients.

They enjoy working independently and as part of a team, using their project management expertise and technical ability for a variety of projects. They are flexible in working with their project teams and are willing to occasionally modify schedules to meet project deadlines and/or client needs. This person also is relationship-focused, as the role involves serving both internal and external clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
A hybrid or remote work arrangement may be considered for this position. This position can be based out of Barr's Denver, Colorado; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Ann Arbor, Michigan; Bismarck, North Dakota; Duluth, Minnesota; Grand Rapids, Michigan; Hibbing, Minnesota; Jefferson City, Missouri; or Salt Lake City, Utah, office(s). Remote arrangements will be considered based on candidate qualifications, location requirements, and Barr’s needs.
Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000–$150,000/year. This position is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Compensation will vary based on relevant experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary cash bonus based on team and individual performance.
