Job description

SC&A is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer/Scientist with knowledge of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and experience in managing and performing site investigations, feasibility studies, and remedial designs. Candidates must be U.S. residents, live in the United States, and have at least five years of experience. The ideal candidate should have an M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering and possess a P.E. license. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to effectively manage, coordinate, and communicate progress and any problems related to the work's financial aspects. This is a remote position, ideally located in the Midwest (EPA Region 5).

Additional Responsibilities include:

  1. Participating in site visits, data collection, and investigations regarding environmental topics.
  2. Reviewing technical and program documents and applications.
  3. Performing environmental calculations based on provided methodologies.
  4. Communicating with regulators on compliance issues.
  5. Interacting with clients.
  6. Up to 30% travel required.
