Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA Inc. is seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist in Greencastle, Indiana, to oversee environmental compliance and manage inspections and permits. A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field is required, along with at least five years of experience in a regulatory enforcement setting.

The role includes routine environmental sampling, preparing compliance reports, and ensuring all environmental permits are current. Strong communication skills and familiarity with relevant regulations are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in regulatory enforcement or industrial/environmental setting.
• Familiarity with CAA, CWA, Title V and RCRA regulations.
• Knowledge of MACT, NSPS, NPDES regulations affecting the cement industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine environmental sampling and conduct required inspections.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports monthly.
• Ensure all environmental permits are up-to-date and renewed in a timely manner.
