Job summary

John Deere seeks a motivated Environmental Engineering intern to support the Environmental team in Iowa. You will assist with EMS and compliance activities at a manufacturing facility, helping to review regulations, manage stormwater, chemicals, wastewater, and waste, and develop data dashboards.

The internship emphasizes hands-on project work, exposure to real-world environmental programs, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of engineering statistics and introductory knowledge of environmental regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to work on environmental EMS and compliance initiatives.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS) and Environmental Programs at a manufacturing facility.
• Execute facility inspections to review compliance with environmental regulations and EMS requirements.
• Take ownership of environmental programs (stormwater, chemical management, wastewater, waste, etc.).
• Develop Power BI dashboards or Power Apps to support environmental data analysis.
