Job summary

CHS Inc. has an exciting opportunity at our McPherson, Kansas refinery for an Environmental Engineer Intern for the Summer of 2027. The successful applicant will work with our Environmental staff to enhance regulatory compliance programs and support reporting under applicable acts.

The internship emphasizes data gathering, regulatory tracking, and collaboration with operations, with safety training and PPE provided. On-site work in McPherson, KS is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of Sophomore or Junior year in Environmental Engineering with GPA 2.6+.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred; internship or oil and gas experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering process data and analyses for regulatory submittals.
• Support environmental tracking and reporting systems implementation.
• Collaborate with environmental staff on regulatory matters.
• Follow safety training and use PPE as required.
