Job summary

Mark Anthony Group seeks an Environmental Engineer to develop and monitor the environmental program at its Glendale, AZ facility. The role partners with brewery stakeholders and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and sustainability.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in environmental engineering, OSHA/environmental regulations, and experience with permits, audits, and reporting in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental engineering.
• 3-5 years’ Environmental Engineering experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• At least 1 year in Environmental Health & Safety.
• Professional ESH experience in manufacturing, testing, or industrial environments.
• Experience with environmental permit applications.
• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental requirements and compliance programs.
• ESH experience in industrial safety, material handling, NFPA Life Safety Code, lock-out-tag-out, hazard recognition.
• Experience administering environmental compliance training.
• Familiarity with environmental media (air, water/wastewater, waste).
• Ability to ensure regulatory compliance with minimal supervision.
• Site assessment, remediation, and water resources experience.
• CHMM or CSP certifications preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication; multitasking ability.
• Willingness to travel and work in the field/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor the environmental program per ISO 14001/45001.
• Work with EPA, OSHA, USDOT regulators and local authorities.
• Assess site operations and support compliance strategies.
• Conduct and document regulatory audits and reporting.
• Prepare regulatory/company deliverable reports.
• Manage wastewater, storm water, SPCC, and other permits.
• Oversee waste minimization and wastewater treatment oversight.
• Participate in incident investigations and cost estimating.
