Job summary

• Ability to apply engineering principles to design, construction, and operation of landfills and solid waste facilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement waste management regulatory policies to protect health and environment.
• Oversee regulatory work for municipal and commercial garbage, waste tires, yard waste, and debris.
• Review plans and permits for waste facilities and investigate complaints.
• Prepare inspection and technical reports; maintain environmental databases and analyze data.
• Provide technical information and assistance to colleagues and public with high customer service standards.
