Job Description

ProSidian seeks an Environmental Engineer specializing in Environmental Management (USACE015020) for a contingent, exempt contract engagement supporting a federal agency within the Department of Defense. The role involves providing critical engineering services across ten states in the Midwest region, focusing on flood management, environmental restoration, and military construction in the Missouri River Basin. The position is based in CONUS and involves approximately 2080 hours per year, with no overtime.

The candidate will support environmental remediation projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing environmental solutions in collaboration with USACE and other clients. The role requires supporting projects related to environmental restoration and military construction, with a focus on flood risk management and environmental mitigation.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should have:

  • Knowledge of environmental engineering principles and experience with regulatory compliance.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in investigation, design, and construction of geotechnical features, including remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and design/construction at environmental remediation sites.
  • Five (5) or more years in environmental engineering, with experience in remediation projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field; licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) is recommended.
  • Skills in environmental impact assessment, project management, technical writing, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to obtain necessary permits and licenses.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates must be able to pass background checks and drug testing.
