Job summary

RoyOMartin in Louisiana seeks an Environmental Engineer to provide technical and regulatory support across our manufacturing operations. You will evaluate environmental systems, analyze data, and develop engineering solutions to improve compliance, efficiency, and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Working knowledge of EPA, LDEQ, TCEQ and state regulations.
• Understanding of air emissions, water and wastewater management, pollution control, and waste management.
• Ability to interpret technical data, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Willingness to travel to manufacturing facilities as needed.
• Experience in environmental engineering or regulatory compliance within manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate environmental processes and control systems for compliance with regulations.
• Conduct environmental assessments, inspections, and audits; develop corrective action plans.
• Perform engineering calculations related to air emissions, water, wastewater, stormwater, and waste management.
• Prepare and support environmental permit applications, renewals, and modifications; regulatory reporting.
• Monitor environmental operating data and evaluate control systems' effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams on environmental improvements and capital projects.
• Investigate incidents and noncompliance; perform root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Maintain technical records, compliance documentation, and monitoring data.
• Provide training on environmental compliance and best practices.
