Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support the completion of air permit applications and ongoing regulatory compliance.
  • Perform tasks across multiple projects for diverse clients within budgets and scope.
  • Create estimates of air emissions and perform emission calculations (mass-balance, AP-42).
  • Understand and interpret federal, state, and local environmental regulations (CAA, RCRA, CERCLA, CWA) and review new rules.
  • Interpret complex regulations and assist clients with cost-effective compliance.
  • Produce and maintain technical reports and documents (engineering calculations, SWPPP, SPCC, Tier II, TRI, RMP, permit applications).
  • Conduct air-dispersion modeling across industrial processes.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Environmental Engineer with a passion for solving complex environmental challenges and supporting air, water, and waste compliance projects. This role partners with technical experts to collect environmental data, manage permitting and regulatory compliance, and develop practical engineering solutions while collaborating with state agencies.

RESPONSIBILITIE
  • S:Support the completion of air (primarily) permit applications, and on-going compliance with environmental regulations such that all control, monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements are satisfie
  • d.Perform multiple tasks in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. Ensure timely completion of projects within allocated budgets and scop
  • e.Create estimates of air emissions associated with industrial processes and related activities. Perform air emission calculations, leveraging methods like mass-balance, engineering judgment, and AP-42 emission factor
  • s.Familiarity/understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations, specifically pertaining to CAA, RCRA, CERCLA, CWA (NPDES and SPCC). Continually review new and proposed regulations as they relate to industrial client
  • s.An ability to interpret complex environmental regulations and assist industrial clients with demonstrating compliance in a cost-effective manne
  • r.Produce and maintain essential and accurate documents and technical reports, including engineering calculations, compliance reports, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, as well as submissions such as Tier II, TRI, RMP reports, and applications for air permit
