Job summary

The location in Johnsonburg, (Pennsylvania, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Environmental Engineer. This job is full-time permanent.

The Entry level Environmental Engineer is responsible for compliance preparation and reporting related to air, water, and waste at both the Johnsonburg Mill and the north and south chip plants. Reporting directly to the EHS Manager, some of the candidates’ duties will include but are not limited to the following.

• Continuous improvement of the environmental management system and processes
• Completing regulatory reporting including internal metrics, tracking, & record retention
• Sustaining air, water, and waste regulatory compliance
• Field testing/sampling and other daily management system checks within the workplace

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, ability to demonstrate communications cross functionally within the organization, execute work both as a team and independently, and have an improvement minded work mentality. Environmental work experience is preferred but not required.

You will be required to successfully complete a selection process that could include interviews, an employment background check, a pre-employment drug screen, and aptitude tests.
