Job summary

DSJ Global is assisting a leading industrial paper manufacturer in Hartford, Connecticut to find an Environmental Engineer. You will support compliance, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement at a large-scale facility.

You will collaborate with production, maintenance, and leadership teams to reduce environmental impact, manage air emissions, wastewater, and reporting, and drive process improvements while ensuring regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in environmental or chemical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of environmental engineering experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting and compliance programs.
• Experience with air emissions, wastewater treatment, stormwater, hazardous waste or environmental reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
