Job summary
Cleveland-Cliffs offers an internship program for students and new graduates with an interest in the steel industry and a passion for innovation and sustainability. As an Environmental Engineering Intern in East Chicago, you will work with industry leaders to support environmental programs and regulatory compliance while gaining hands-on experience.

Qualifications
- Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related technical degree.
- Completion of at least sophomore year of study by summer 2027.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Assist with environmental data acquisition, management, and reporting to support Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and RCRA requirements.
- Assist with special projects and environmental investigations for permit compliance.
- Assist with other environmental programs such as energy efficiency, waste minimization, GHG reduction, and ISO 14001 EMS.
- Various other tasks as needed.
