About the Position
ServCorp (SCx) is seeking an experienced Environmental/Energy Manager to support environmental compliance, energy management, sustainability, resource efficiency, and operational improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to manage environmental and energy-related activities in a regulated operational environment.
Responsibilities
- Support environmental and energy-management programs.
- Monitor applicable environmental and energy requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve resource efficiency and operational performance.
- Track environmental and energy-related information and trends.
- Support inspections, assessments, and compliance activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Prepare reports and management summaries.
- Coordinate environmental and energy-related activities with operational teams.
- Identify risks and recommend corrective or improvement actions.
- Support training and awareness activities.
- Promote sustainable and responsible operational practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental management, engineering, energy management, sustainability, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Professional experience in environmental management, energy management, sustainability, compliance, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze information and prepare professional reports.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work on-site in China Lake, California.
- Ability to satisfy applicable employment, background, and facility-access requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Environmental or energy-management certification.
- Experience supporting regulated or industrial operations.
- Government or defense-industry experience.
- Experience with environmental compliance programs.
- Experience with energy efficiency or sustainability initiatives.
- Experience conducting inspections, assessments, or audits.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation will be based on qualifications and relevant experience.
