This role will assist the Environmental Education and Outreach Manager with organizational, curriculum, and communication tasks, helping to develop and coordinate district-wide educational initiatives and outreach.

Job description

Kendall County Forest Preserve District is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Environmental Education Instructor to aid in supporting operations and deliver environmental education programing. This position plays a key role in leading the District’s various environmental education programing including school programs, public programs, and camps, as well as assist the Environmental Education and Outreach Manager in organizational, curriculum, and communication tasks.

Essential Functions:

A successful candidate for this position must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality support for Kendall County Forest Preserve District operations under the supervision of the District’s Environmental Education and Outreach Manager.
