CHS, Inc. has an exciting opportunity at our Oil Refinery facility in McPherson, Kansas for an Environmental Director. You will lead environmental programs, policy development, and regulatory compliance as a core member of the Refinery Leadership Team.

The role requires strong communication, governance, and operational partnership to drive safety, process safety and environmental stewardship across the site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 7+ years of environmental experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Environmental Science, or closely related field from a four-year college or university.
• 10+ years of environmental experience preferred.
• Oil and Gas Industry experience.
• Refinery knowledge involving process control operations and maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulations involving Environmental issues.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and oversee environmental programs and procedures.
• Ensure programs reflect best available technology and comply with regulations.
• Direct CHS Environment Services Department in environmental programs.
