Eastern Research Group, Inc. (ERG) in Boston is seeking an early career professional to support environmental and sustainability projects, including a clean energy grant program.

You will manage large datasets, collaborate with applicants to meet grant requirements, and help maintain grant management databases while interfacing with clients. Ideal candidates will have experience with data visualization tools and independent research, plus strong analytical and communication skills to draft

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field.
• Minimum of one year of experience with environmental or sustainability data.
• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense).
• Experience drafting technical reports and presenting findings.
• Ability to manage large, complex datasets and work with grant processes.

Responsibilities

• Review and process clean energy grant applications for eligibility.
• Process payment requests and interface with applicants throughout the grant process.
• Identify and categorize application errors and communicate them to applicants and clients.
• Help develop and maintain a public-facing government data dashboard.
• Analyze, collect, and organize data to support greenhouse gas, energy, and water reduction projects.
• Research and develop briefing materials on sustainability topics.
• Provide data analysis and technical communications support on environmental, sustainability, and public health topics.
