Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an Environmental Data Analytics Discipline Leader to drive analytics across environmental services in a multi-disciplinary setting. You will work with digital teams, SMEs, and the environmental data analytics group to grow capabilities and deliver innovative solutions for clients.

You will lead the development of analytics tools, manage IP/R&D investments, and mentor practitioners while coordinating with sales, marketing, and technical teams to advance CDM Smith’s environmental

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Professional engineering (PE) license or related certification preferred.
• Experience with environmental data analytics.
• Familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
• IP management experience.
• Interest in teaching and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate available data analytics technologies and platforms for environmental data.
• Collaborate with Sales and Digital teams on technical delivery of environmental analytics.
• Coordinate with local, national, and international technical teams.
• Leverage analytics research to expand firm capabilities in environmental services.
• Support marketing and business development for environmental analytics.
• Grow practitioners in environmental data analytics within the firm.
• Manage IP and prioritize R&D investments and related processes.
• Engage with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver environmental solutions.
• Identify conferences and working groups to promote capabilities.
